A complete
Pictorial Manual
giving step by step detailed instructions is
supplied with each IMCO Load
Monitor. We recommend the customer do his own.
It is remarkably
simple! You do not have to grind the surface to a micro inch flat finish.
No surface preparation is required.
When mounting transducers, a disposable,
self-sticking template is provided for spacing
dimensions. Then using a typical hand drill, all you do is drill and tap
two holes for each transducer. No precision drilling! Mounting
brackets are easily screwed into the press
columns or pitmans. Welding, messy glue or
cement adhesions are never used.
Next attach the factory pre-wired transducers
between the ball joint mounting brackets. String cable from transducer to
terminal connection in Control Box, connect the 120/220 volts A. C., 50-60 Hz.
power to Control Box and use two wires to tie your clutch into emergency stop.
Very fast and easy!
IMCO's accurate, linear
electronic piezoelectric "Crystal" Transducers and Systems are lab quality
manufactured, but can take normal amounts of user and industrial environment
abuse. Special handling or technical personnel are not essential for
installing. Everything necessary for installation is supplied by IMCO,
except the tools.
Simplicity of IMCO
equipment normally will permit customer to do his own installation of the
Piezoelectric Transducers and the Control Box Mounting.
Factory
supplied instruction manual consist of:
Attaching
Piezoelectric "Crystal" Transducers as directed using
provided templates.
Mounting
IMCO Load Monitors using the provided shock mounts.
Routing
cable from Transducers to IMCO Load Monitor.
MakingTransducer
connections into IMCO Load Monitor.
Making
electrical connection into IMCO Load Monitor
to enter either
press emergency stop circuit or stop on top
circuit.
Making
